Most CMDB exports record what a machine is for support purposes — hostname, owner, warranty. Almost none record the things that set its resale price. This one does.

Don’t aim for perfect
A rough list today beats a complete one next month. Model and quantity alone are enough for a valuation — everything else just tightens the number.
Always list the GPUs
If accelerators are fitted, they frequently exceed the value of the servers holding them. It’s the field most often left blank and the one that matters most.
Capture it before stripping
Once units are on pallets and rails are in another box, configuration is lost and so is value. Record first, dismantle second.
